The Geography/Travel Group meets September to April each year. Members attend to discover more of the world outside their four walls and delight to learn of other experiences, discovering places and details they were possibly unaware of. The social side of our meetings is also important. We meet on the second Wednesday of each month at the Aylesbury Tennis Club at 2.30pm.
The meetings take the form of a one hour PowerPoint presentation, or slide show covering holidays taken throughout the world by Group members or friends.
There is a charge of £2 per meeting to cover the cost of the hire of the hall and tea/coffee and biscuits.
Volunteer presenters are greatly appreciated, but people to swell the audience and enjoy a friendly afternoon are always welcome.
We normally break during the summer and restart in September. However, we have lost our group leader and need a replacement. Volunteers to Chairman please.
