We have presentations on a wide variety of transport topics, usually by group members. Over the years subjects have included vehicle restoration, history of UK railway gauges, the hidden Post Office underground rail network, to name but a few.
This is a very participative group.
At our April meeting we had an extremely interesting look at the history of UK motorways, particularly the M62.
Our next meeting will be on Wednesday 20th May and will be a visit to the de Havilland Aircraft Museum (near London Colney, just off the M25) – regular attendees have details of the arrangements already, but do contact us if you would like to join our group.
