We have presentations on a wide variety of transport topics, usually by group members. Over the years subjects have included vehicle restoration, history of UK railway gauges, the hidden Post Office underground rail network, to name but a few.
This is a very participative group.
At our April meeting (14.30 on Wednesday 15th April, 9 Barge Crescent, Broughton, Aylesbury, HP22 7BH) we will be looking at the development of motorways (don’t we all love the M25 experience?!). For the May meeting, we may well be visiting the de Havilland Aircraft Museum (near London Colney, just off the M25!), further detail will be available at the next meeting.
